Principal UX Designer

- Minimum 8 years of practical experience in all user-centred design processes, mockups, adhering to design principles, and human behaviour.
- Demonstrate expertise in all UCD activities: user profiling, task analysis, journey mapping, information architecture, navigation models, concept modelling, VX strategy, high-fidelity interaction design
- Rock-solid portfolio with UCD artefacts
- Apply design thinking to complex systems, including B2B, B2E, websites, web applications, and mobile devices.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in user research.
- Exceptional team management, project management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with effective prioritization and delivery.
You will be responsibile for:
- Execute and drive multiple UXD projects by diagnosing business and user needs
- Apply all pieces of user-centred design methodology and processes
- Plan and conduct primary and secondary research
- Convert user insights into concept designs that are not only compelling but are contrasting ideas looking at business challenges from varied angles
- Design and manage all interaction design activities, including visual design coordination with global designers
- Present design decisions to the stakeholders that are backed up by strong experience design principles and rationale
- Coordinate with technology teams to bring designs to a pixel-perfect reality
- Manage communications at all levels and be responsible for project deliverables with quality and on time
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience of all user-centred design processes. Expert level knowledge UCD methodology, information architecture, navigation models and interaction design principles
- Prefer candidates who hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree (BDes / MDes/ BE/ BTech) in a design field, including interaction design, product design, Human-Computer Interaction or comparable design discipline.
- Experience in designing for various devices and systems (mobile, handheld, TV, display systems)
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication, management, negotiation, presentation and client relations skills
- Ability to trigger business discussions with program managers, CTOs, CIOs, CEOs
- A clear and effective presentation style to inform and influence important design decisions and maintain credibility
- Deeper eagerness for observing human behavior and synthesizing insights into the design
- Be organized and showcase excellent time management skills and be highly detail-oriented
- Ability to manage own timelines in an efficient manner while receiving strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders.
